About Tena Tena | |
This
remote and small eight bed seasonal camp lies within the Nsefu Sector of
the National Park on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River.
Groves of mahogany trees shade the large custom-made tents. From the thatched dining room and bar, guests can watch the elephants, hippo and antelope on the riverbanks. Nearby is a spectacular lagoon, Baka Baka, a rich congregation point for game and the spot where Jo and Robin were married. Tena Tena is utilised at the end of the nine day mobile walking safari. Key points:
From 1999, Tena Tena has been reduced in size to an 8 bed camp - advance bookings are essential |
