A bit about Nkwali Camp | |
| Elephants
often cross the Luangwa and are seen from the large thatched bar and
lounge area on the main terrace above the river.
The en-suite chalets are made of thatch and woven bamboo, are cool and spacious, each with an excellent view onto the Luangwa River. The area is renowned for leopard and giraffe sightings. Access to the park is through the main entrance over the bridge, by boat or via the camp's nearby pontoon. Nkwali is only 45 minutes drive from Mfuwe airport and is the starting point for the mobile-walking, Nsefu-walking and Mupamadzi safaris. Key Points:
Nkwali serves as the main logistics base for all of Robin's safaris. It also serves as home for the small group of permanent office staff who attend to reservations and management in the Valley. |
